Famous South Indian actress, Rambha has married Indiran Tirumala, a Canadian NRI businessman on Thursday. The marriage took place in of Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupati.

The ceremony was attended by 500 invitees. Most of these were close relatives of the bride and the bride-groom. The people had arrived at Tirumala Hills on Wednesday itself and were seen very busy with the chores.

After the marriage, the couple performed their prayers in the temple. They later left for Chennai.

The "muhurtam" took place in between 1030 to 1145 hours. Sources said that it got delayed by more than one and half hours. This happened because the bride-groom arrived late for the ritual.

Unlike many of the latest Bollywood marriage, this one happened at a grand scale in the Karnataka Guest House. But as far as the invitees, it kept its low-profile as only the close family members and friends were invited.

However, many stars from Tollywood and Kollywood were present for some time. Also many known politicians made their appearance.

The reception is going to take place on April 11 in Chennai. They will go to New Zealand for their honeymoon.
