Rajneeti is a commentary on politics, says director
Talking to the press recently, the director of 'Rajneeti', Prakash Jha said that in many ways it is one of his films that cover the area of politics, completely. During a conference held in Gurgaon for the promotion of the upcoming film, the director said that it is his 'most complete film' till now.
He revealed that the film talks about people, family, society, states, nation, corruption and every other possible aspect of the journey called politics. He further added that it is an attempt to show the public what actually happens in politics.
Prakash told that he was able to experience what actually goes on behind the scenes during the time when he contested the elections in Bihar. He has used all the experiences that he got to make the film and also show the public the reality.
Rajneeti is about how a political party evolves an ideology and how it uses to win public support.
The cast of the film includes names like Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Manoj Bajpai, Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgan and Arjun Rampal.
The movie will be released in June.
