Rail strike leads to travel turmoil
The continuing rail strike, which is now expected to hit services on Saturday, is leading to travel turmoil and fresh delays for commuters.
As per the reports, Thursday saw members of the Rail Maritime and Transport union and Aslef at National Express East Anglia walking out for 48 hours; and if a row over pay and conditions is not resolved, then a further action would be taken by them in the coming weeks.
Friday saw most of the 1,800 services being cancelled, with passengers being informed to expect delays on Saturday, due to the knock-on effect of the strike.
