Prachanda warns of revolt in Nepal

Kathmandu, Maoist chairman PrachandaMay 9: Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) chairman Prachanda warned of revolt if his party was barred from leading the new government in Nepal.

He said the Seven Party Alliance (SPA) meeting would pave way for formation of new a government.

Prachanda further said that the people would sweep away all if anyone creates a hurdle on the day the Constituent Assembly (CA) declares Nepal a republic. The task has to be completed by May 28.

"Nepali people will really become sovereign for the first time in history, and feudalism will come to an end once and for all," Nepalnews quoted Prachanda as saying. (ANI)
