Potholes might come in aid for electricity generation

Potholes might come in aid for electricity generationThe potholes might just come in handy for generating electricity according to the Levant Power Corporation plans.

As the company states, they have devised a way to utilize the potholes to generate electricity via installing a special shock absorber that makes use of the energy vented out from potholes' jolts.

The leader behind this mastermind plan is a MIT pass out, Shakeel Avadhany, CEO of Levant Power Corporation.

The device is termed as the GenShock devices which were conceptualized earlier when he was an undergraduate student, and presently he hopes to launch these devices on the market in the second quarter of 2011.

It is believed that these devices will be priced a bit more than the normal shock absorbers. Avadhany states "you will get those dollars back through improved fuel economy."

It will be a pay-back offer towards the environmental measures.
