Police blames video games for London riots

An unidentified police constable told a media publication that he believes that violent video games are to blame for the London riots.

He said that kids are playing games like Grand Theft Auto and want to live it for themselves in real life by creating public disorder. The criticism is an old one against video games, which is often blamed for making children more violent as well aggressive at a younger age.

The Grand Theft Auto allows gamers to carry out a number of activities on their screens and creates a parallel reality.

Meanwhile, videogames with violent nature were removed from stores in Norway in the wake of the tragic shooting in the country last month.
