He said alignments are simple events for everyone, but they may be of much importance to rocket scientists and astronomers.

The moon on Saturday appeared shining less than two degrees right of Venus. Mars on the other hand was seen standing above the moon and Venus.

Venus among the three was the brightest. Jupiter was visible in the south-eastern sky, as it stood slightly left and above the crescent moon.

This celestial alignment began on November 6, said experts. Such celestial alignments can appear at any point in a year. . But any event where three or more bright planets plus the moon, appear to reside in the same small area of the sky, is very rare.
