An unfortunate incident took place with Sunder C while shooting for Selva Bharathi directed flick Murattu Kalai. While shooting for the film in the suburbs of Thenkasi, his chariot got capsized while filming a chariot race.

The actor sustained leg injuries and was rushed to a private nursing home in Thenkasi. The doctors have advised him a complete bed rest for a while and it would take time for the actor to resume shooting for the movie. The film has been halted for the moment.  The film is a remake of yesteryear Rajni's blockbuster.

Actress Sindhu Dhulani and Sneha would be seen acting opposite Sundar C.
