London, Nov 30 : Music mogul Simon Cowell has reportedly got himself an unlikely matchmaker in the form of Cheryl Cole.

The singer is allegedly trying to set him up with one of her single mates.

However, Cowell, who recently split with long-term love Terri Seymour, has turned down the offers.

So, the Girls Aloud member has suggested setting up a profile for Cowell on popular Internet dating site mysinglefriend. com.

Washington, Nov 28: Simon Cowell's ex Terri Seymour has denied that she ditched the music mogul by text message.

The couple dated for more than six years, until Seymour called time on the relationship in September (08).

Cowell later told a U. S. news show he was dumped by text, but Seymour insists that wasn''t the case.

She insists that ending such a long-lasting relationship with a text message would be too impersonal.

"You''re with someone for six years and you end it by text? I don''t think so! No, it wasn''t ended over the phone and it wasn''t ended by text,” Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Britain''s Hello magazine.

London, Nov 19 : American Idol judge Simon Cowell has revealed that it was his girlfriend who dumped him by sending a text message.

Cowell has made the revelation in a bizarre TV interview with his ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour.

The 49-year-old star was speaking with Terri Seymour, 34, about the end of their six-year relationship on a TV show.

In the show, Terri, who is a TV showbiz correspondent, even asked the reality show guru for dating advice.

“I did not dump you,” The Sun quoted her as claiming on the US show.

But Cowell replied: “You sent me a text.”

Cowell agreed to appear alongside Terri in an American news show called ‘Extra’, which features her entertainment reports.

And their Cowell admitted that that it was actually him, who was dumped.

Tonioli, a judge on BBC 1''s Strictly that topped the ratings over Cowell''s X Factor on ITV1, claimed Cowell was eyeing the rival show and would love to pocket it.

"Simon wants to buy it. He loves it," the Telegraph quoted him as saying.
