Washington, Dec 19 : American country music singer Mindy McCready's brother has revealed that she is "doing great", and recovering from her apparent suicide attempt.

McCready, 33, ended up being hospitalised at a Nashville hospital on December 17 after she was found by her other brother Timothy lying on the bed in a pool of blood.

According to the brother, McCready appeared intoxicated when he checked on her, after she made a bizarre call to her mother earlier in the evening after a night out.

Washington, Dec 18 : American country music singer Mindy McCready is said to have made an attempt at suicide and has been hospitalised in Nashville.

According to The New York Daily News, McCready was taken by ambulance from her home to the hospital where she is being treated for wounds on her wrists.

"We responded to a ''10-63,'' that''s a suicidal person call. Mindy McCready was at the house," Fox News quoted Kris Mumford, a Nashville Police Department spokeswoman, as telling the Daily News.
