Washington, Apr 16 : Jamie Foxx has vowed that he will never travel on the same plane with another celebrity, after having had a near-death experience with pal Sean Combs last year.

Last December, the `Ray' star was travelling to Las Vegas for celebrating his 41st birthday along with Diddy, but just before touching down, the aircraft nosedived and a scared Foxx was sure that he won't survive a crash landing.

Much to his relief, the pilot managed to regain control of the plane just in time.

Washington, Apr 15 : Jamie Foxx has made an on-camera apology to Miley Cyrus for his recent derogatory remarks about the teen starlet on his satellite radio show.

The comedian appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and claimed that he went a little too far in mocking the `Hannah Montana' star.

According to E! Online, Leno innocently said on the show: "Did you say something inappropriate?" reports E! Online.

"Yeah," admitted Foxx and then took a few breaths and went on to offer a full-blown apology.

Washington, April 15 : Jamie Foxx was so “shredded” while playing a schizophrenic musician in the upcoming film “The Soloist” that he landed seeing a psychiatrist.

The Oscar-winning actor revealed he pushed himself to the limit to deliver the demanding role of Nathanial Ayers, a cello prodigy.

"It was something that I enjoyed, but it shredded me. I went to places that I never thought I would ever go,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Washington, Jan 21 : American actor Jamie Foxx has given up his trademark diamond earrings to protest against the use of conflict gems in jewellery.

The Oscar-winner, famous for wearing big stones in each of his ears, has ditched them after learning about the history of jewels mined in warzones and sold to fund conflicts or profit warlords.

"I now wear cubic zirconia. I used to wear real diamonds, but there''s too much issue about blood diamonds," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

New York, Jan 3 : Jamie Foxx was hit by ice cubes after the singer infuriated clubbers by playing his new single three times in a row.

While partying at club Liv in the Fontainebleau for LeBron James'' birthday earlier this week, the 41-year-old star "asked the deejay to play his new single three times in a row," the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

"The crowd was really annoyed, and a few people started throwing ice at him," the source added.

However, Foxx seemed unfazed by the fury and kept on dancing.
