London, Nov 7 : Hollywood actress Ellen DeGeneres, who openly campaigned against the Proposition 8, is "saddened" with the passing of a ban on same-sex marriage in California.
The talk show host, who married Hollywood actress Portia Rossi revealed that though by electing Obama America has taken a giant step forward, with the Proposition 8 amendment "took a giant step away".
In a surprise appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, Barack Obama showed Degeneres his dance moves, while taping it all on Tuesday in Miami, in front of a live audience. Right after the rally, with nearly 40 people behind him, Obama was ready to go via satellite.
The ‘ball’ set rolling when DeGeneres got right down to business, commenting on Obama’s dancing prowess, or lack of it, saying: “Your wife, Michelle, was on the show and she was talking some smack about your moves.”
