Kathmandu, Aug 28 : Nepal''s Supreme Court is expected to announce its verdict in the case of ‘Bikni Killer’ Charles Sobhraj, the criminal mastermind serving life term in Kathmandu''''s Central Jail.
Earlier, Sobhraj''s lawyers argued that there was no concrete evidence to convict him in the three-decade-old murder case.
Although 64-year-old Sobhraj, a French citizen, is being held for violating immigration laws, the Nepal Police have charged him with the murder of two backpackers, a Canadian and an American, in 1975.
