Washington, Nov 21 : Verizon Wireless, the second largest wireless telecommunications network in the US, has reportedly sent its employees on indefinite leave with pay who “accessed and viewed” President-elect Barack Obama''s personal cell phone account without authorization.

The firm said it was evaluating the circumstances of each employee''s access to the account to determine appropriate action, including disciplinary proceedings, reported the Washington Post.

Washington, Nov. 21 : Pollster John Zogby has rejected a conservative commentator’s offer to sponsor a poll similar to the one conducted for President-elect Barack Obama before he won the 2008 elections.

The commentator was proposing to mirror a poll of Obama voters that caused a political uproar when it suggested that Obama supporters didn’t know what they were voting for.
