Hugh Jackman, 40, blockbuster films action hero, Tony award winner for his turn on Broadway, including father of Oscar, 8 and Ava, 3, has been named 2008 Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. Described as 'a triple threat: a star who can sing, dance and wield a weapon', according to People, the star of 'Australia', hunky at 6 ft. 2-in. and well-known for his rock hard body, also has a softer, romantic side. He not only sings ballads at home, he also makes pancakes for Ava, Oscar and wife Deb, the best things that have happened to him.

Talking to People magazine after winning the title, Jackman told them about his first kiss when 9-years old with a girl called Sarah Dowsett. As for what he wears to bed, Hugh revealed that until his daughter was born, he liked to go to bed in the buff, but now wears boxer shorts.

As for Deb, Jackman's actress wife, who calls his perfect body - Body Of Doom, on being asked what she thought about the hugely coveted title, quipped: "Obviously, Brad wasn't available this year."

Blair Underwood, Daniel Craig (2nd place), Jon Hamm (3rd place), Ed Westwick and Zac Efron are some of the other men featured in the issue.
