PayPal has confirmed the attack that one of its Twitter accounts in the U. K. was hacked. The company assured users that the Twitter account is managed separately and no customer data was affected.

After restoring the control over its account, the company apologized and informed users that the account has been restored. The company also deleted the messages from the hacker.
