Outgoing CGM terms experience in the state as most valuable

HC Pattnaik, who retired as a chief general manager (CGM), Gujarat, State Bank of India (SBI), believes that governance in Gujarat is far better than other states and business community in the state also enjoys an edge over their counterparts in rest of India.

On his last working day as CGM, Pattnaik shared his views about Gujarat saying that I have worked with SBI in various states in the country but I will never forget Gujarat and my experience in the state was quite valuable. Most interesting fact is that unlike other states, not even a single minister of the state has sought loan from the bank during my tenure of more than 2 years." On Saturday, he retired from the job.
