Tel Aviv - Palestinian militants detonated a bomb Tuesday morning next to Israeli soldiers patrolling the Israel-Gaza border fence, a military spokesman in Tel Aviv said.

He would give no details of casualties, in what was the most serious attack against Israeli troops since Palestinian militants announced a ceasefire nine days ago after Israel ended its three- week-long assault against militants in the Gaza Strip. (dpa)
