Pakistan ready with its response to Indian ‘dossier’Islamabad, Feb. 4: Pakistan is ready with its response to the Indian `dossier' of evidences regarding the Mumbai terror attacks, and it could dispatch the findings to India soon.

Pakistan's Ambassador to India, Shahid Malik met Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir and other top officials at the Foreign Office here and discussed the details of Pakistan's version of the probe of the November 2008 Mumbai attacks.

"Pakistani response could now be sent to India anytime and Ambassador Malik was summoned here to have discussions on possible Indian reaction to it," The Nation quoted a senior Pak official, as saying.

The official also said that the response is ready, and it is the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and the President Asif Ali Zardari who would decide when to hand over it to India.

The official didn't disclose many details about the dossier, however he said that the investigation carried out by Pakistan rejects New Delhi's claim that the attacks were planned on its (Pakistan) soil.

He said that the Indian evidences were insufficient, and could not be presented in a court of law.

Another official added that Pakistan may share its findings, as well as its response to Indian claims with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who would be arriving in Islamabad today. (ANI)
