Pak Taliban denies involved in kidnappings, killings of innocents
Bara (Pakistan), Nov 16 : The Pakistan unit of the Taliban, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has denied that it was involved in kidnapping for ransom, killings of innocent people, bomb blasts and robberies.
In pamphlets written in Urdu and distributed in Jamrud, the Taliban said they would take action against those involved in these crimes, reported the Daily Times.
The pamphlets also said that Taliban were fighting for “the sanctity of the religion” and their fight was not against a particular country, group or individual.
It was also declared in the pamphlets that TTP chief Baitullah Mehsud had nominated Mustafa Kamal as Taliban chief for Jamrud sub-division of Khyber Agency. (ANI)
