London, Nov 18 : The founding members of Brit girl band Sugababes are said to be gearing up for a reunion with the help of PR guru Claire Powell.

Mutya Buena, 24, was last month reported to have called on her bandmates Keisha Buchanan, 25, and Siobhan Donaghy, 25, to reform, and after a meeting last week they have decided to move things forward.

Buena had been spurred into action after yet another line-up change in September when Buchanan got the boot.

Powell, who was tapped up by Buena’s manager, has agreed to help mastermind their return.

“The comeback is gathering momentum,” the Sun quoted a label source as saying.

“Mutya had a lot of convincing to do to get the girls around the table to sort things out. That happened last week and they are all game to give it a go.

“Mutya’s manager knows he needs some muscle to make it a commercial success and he’s called in his old pal Claire.

“The other girls are delighted to be back in touch. They are bang up for it with the new management team.

“They are now looking for a record deal and have started planning for a big launch next year,” the source added. (ANI)
