Vienna - The price for oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) continued to move sideways Wednesday, inching up to 41.64 dollars, the cartel announced Thursday.

One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude was up 0.12 dollars Wednesday.

OPEC calculates its basket price based on 12 brands produced by its members. (dpa)
