Normal production to resume at Hyundai plantHyundai has informed that the production at it plant will soon reach normal levels. The company has said that the workers have withdrawn their strike and they will soon re-join their work and normal production would resume soon.

Over two hundred agitating workers at Hyundai Motor India’s plant had been arrested in the second day of the strike.

The workers have called off a strike at the Sriperumbudur plant facility of Hyundai Motors India. However, an agreement has been signed between the company and the workers. This was done by the Hyundai Motor India Employees Union.

The union had demanded for the reinstatement of their colleagues dismissed. Last year 67 workers had been dismissed by the company.

Tamil Nadu Labour Department officials were present at the time of this agreement. A six-member committee has been formed to the dismissal of 35 of the workers.

So after a long dilemma, the workers have decided to go back to work and now things at the plant will be come back to its normal level.
