'Nanhe Jaisalmer' hits theatres

Mumbai, Sept 14: A unique Hindi movie depicting the bonding between an illiterate child and a Bollywood actor hit theatres on Friday.

Bobby Deol, who plays the Bollywood actor in the film said that he was feeling happy by associating himself with it.

"It's a feel good film and I am very happy that I am associated with this film and I am glad that I am part of this film," he said.

Benazir to land in Karachi on October 18

Islamabad, Sept 14: Pakistan People's Party chairperson, Benazir Bhutto will be landing at the Karachi airport on October 18, ending her eight years of exile.

This was announced today simultaneously by her party from eight different locations in Pakistan.

PPP vice-chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim and information-secretary Sherry Rehman announced the programme of Benazir's return in Islamabad amidst a huge crowd of former Prime Minister's supporters.

After landing at Karachi, she is expected to visit the mausoleum of Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

BJP, VHP claim ‘victory’ after Centre withdraws ‘Ram Setu’ affidavit

New Delhi, Sept 14: Hailing the UPA Government’s decision to withdraw the affidavit in the Sethusamudram case as the ‘victory’ of Hindus, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Friday sought an apology from the Centre “for hurting the sentiments of Hindus by raising question over existence of Lord Ram”.

They also demanded that work on the Sethusamudram Ship Canal Project be stopped immediately.

London, September 14: Pop star Prince has reportedly decided to wage a legal action on websites that are making unauthorised use of his music.

His move comes in the wake of posting of clips from his recent concert at The O2 Arena in London on the website YouTube.

The clips have appeared on the website despite the fact that fans were banned from taking photographs or video footage during the show.
