Washington D.C [USA], Oct.24 : A research by University of Texas at San Antonio have thrown light on a method for detecting people dishonestly posting online comments, reviews or tweets across multiple accounts, a practice known as "astroturfing."

The study by Kim-Kwang Raymond Choo describes a statistical method that analyzes multiple writing samples. Choo and his collaborators found that it's challenging for authors to completely conceal their writing style in their text. Based on word choice, punctuation and context, the method is able to detect whether one person or multiple people are responsible for the samples.

New Delhi [India], Oct.24 : While a box of traditional sweets is the least desirable gift for office workers, cash and gift coupons/vouchers, prepaid cards are most desired this Diwali festival, noted a just-concluded survey by apex industry body ASSOCHAM.

The ASSOCHAM Social Development Foundation conducted an online survey to gauge 1,000 full-time office workers' opinions and about 500 human resource professionals on Diwali festival bonuses given by companies and their desired gifts between October 1 - October 15 in 10 cities of - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

Chittagong [Bangladesh], Oct.24 : England escaped a big scare as they claimed an unlikely 22-run win over Bangladesh in the opening Test of the two-match series, thanks to all-rounder Ben Stokes for bagging the final two wickets on day five at Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium here on Monday.

According to USA Football, there are approximately three million young athletes participating in organized tackle football across the country. Numerous reports have emerged in recent years about the possible risks of brain injury while playing youth sports and the effects it may have on developing brains.

However, most of the research has looked at changes in the brain as a result of concussion.
