India-Pakistan foreign secy talks on Feb 25

Nirupama RaoIndia and Pakistan formally announced on Friday that they would hold the foreign secretary-level talks in New Delhi on February 25.

Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir telephoned his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao, accepting India’s offer for talks in New Delhi.

“Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir telephoned Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao today to convey acceptance of India’s invitation to hold foreign secretary-level talks,” an External Affairs Ministry statement said.

M&M enters into a license agreement with Mitsubishi

M&M enters into a license agreement with MitsubishiMahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has entered into a license agreement with Mitsubishi Agriculture Machinery Company (MAMC), Japan for the transfer of technology in the field of agricultural machinery.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed by the company. The license will be for M&M Farm Equipment Sectors’ (FES) Applitrac business.
