Mumbai, Oct 14 - A benchmark index of Indian equities was ruling 65 points higher Thursday, having slipped from its opening highs.

The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 20,700.42 points, was after 45 minutes, ruling at 20,753.79 points, up 65.91 points or 0.32 percent from its previous close at 20,687.88 points.

It had moved up 167 points to 20,854.55 points soon after the opening bell.

At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the 50-share S&P CNX Nifty was trading at 6,249 points, up 0.25 percent.

The "Golmaal" soundtrack was composed by Vishal-Shekhar, but Pritam Chakroborty took the mantle from the composer duo for "Golmaal Returns" and presented quite an energetic soundtrack. For the third instalment, the music director has clubbed the retro feel of the 1980s along with contemporary music and the combination makes the album a must hear.

Hollywood actor Javier Bardem will next be seen in a film based on the plights of miners in Chile, who were recently in news after it was found out that the workers remained trapped inside the mines for a span of 67 days. The yet-to-be-titled film is thus based on the true story of 33 men, all of them miners in Chile, who had to remain underground for more than two months, with the government facing much criticism after failing to get them out of the hell hole sooner than they did.

The Academy Award winner says that what makes him all the more happy is the fact that it is a girl, adding that he cannot wait to set eyes upon her. Matt Damon is married to Luciana Barrosa and the couple already share two children of their own, as well as a daughter from Luciana’s previous marriage.
