International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) has released new software and services help businesses analyze massive amounts of data from difference sources including the World Wide Web.

The company said that its products will allow businesses to integrate and analyze tens-of-petabytes of data in their native format and gain information from the data in subsecond response times. The company will offer products based on open-source software Hadoop to offer scalable storage and other software to analyze massive amounts of streaming data.

A subsidiary of Sony Corp called, So-net Entertainment ahs said that it has faced an online attack earlier this week and hackers were able to access customer rewards site and steal customers' redeemable gift points worth about $1,225.

The Internet service provider faced the breach after several days after Sony restored service to the PlayStation Network and Sony Online Entertainment online videogame services.

According to Graffix0214, The Android Honeycomb OS, which is the first version specifically built for tablet computers, actually has Gingerbread's interface quietly hidden underneath.

Graffix0214 said that the users can simply switch through a simple tweak in a system file if they already have root access. The users can change the LCD density value to 170 or higher to suit to the smaller denser display.

Mumbai, May 21 : Nothing could be a bigger platform than Kolkata's Eden Gardens to draw such huge public attention at one time to the new faces of "Always Kabhi Kabhi", superstar Shah Rukh Khan's latest production.

The cast and crew of the film would accompany Khan to support his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in its face-off with the Mumbai Indians there Sunday.

"We are all going to Kolkata on May 22 to watch the KKR match at Edens," actor Ali Fazal, one of the four lead-cast of the film, told IANS Saturday.

Mumbai, May 21 : Director Piyush Jha of "Sikander" and "Chalo America" fame is set to start his next project - a political action-thriller.

It's a reality-based story, which he is planning to portray in Bollywood's larger than life style and he is in talks with some leading actors to play the lead roles, said a source close to Jha.

The source added that in spite of being very excited about the project, Jha is very tight-lipped on giving away details about the film until he finalises his lead cast.

Chennai, May 21 : Ailing superstar Rajinikanth is getting better. The vital parameters of the Tamil star, admitted to the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre here, are now returning to normal, a hospital bulletin Saturday said.

He is now taking oral diet by himself and is spending time with his family members, it said.

The matinee idol was admitted to hospital late evening May 13, with fever and fluid retention following acute gastro-intestinal and respiratory problems and was later shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) May 18.
