Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) has declared a net profit for fiscal ended March 2010 due to higher revenue, whereas its total income grew by 72.52%.

The company's board announced a final dividend of Rs 0.54 per equity share of Rs 2 each for the financial year ended March 10 plus the interim Dividend of Re 0.54 per equity share of Rs 2 each paid in November 2010.

During the year ended March 2010, JAL recorded total revenues of Rs 10316.04 crore as against Rs 5979.52 crore in March 2009.

Bollywood film producer Karan Johar, who has recently celebrated his 38th birth anniversary on May 25, is feeling that he is turning old now.

Authorities have informed that a New York student allegedly brought a gun to his middle school on Tuesday then left and tried to carjack a passing car before being arrested.

LoHud. com has reported that the boy, a student at Orangetown Middle School in Blauvelt, was in police custody after the incident.

Police have said that no one was injured, the gun was confiscated and no other weapons were found at the school.

A poll has indicated that more than half of U. S. voters favor Arizona's strict new immigration law and nearly as many want their states to pass a similar one.

Released on Tuesday by Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., the poll shows that 51 percent of voters said they support the immigration law, while 31 percent said they oppose it. The poll also indicated that nearly half, 48 percent, said they want their state to pass a similar law, while 35 percent said they would not want such a law.
