Mumbai, Sep 3 - A Spicejet flight made an emergency landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) here Saturday following some technical problems. All passengers are safe, an official said.

There were 137 passengers on board flight SG-344 on its way here from Bangalore.

The flight made a turnaround eight minutes before it reported a technical hitch and a full emergency was declared at 12.15 p. m.

It landed safely at 12.21 p. m. and the emergency was relaxed at 12.28 p. m., the airport official said.

Washington, Sept 3 : Jada Pinkett-Smith’s medical drama ‘Hawthorne’ has been axed after just three seasons, with TV executives announcing that they will not be renewing the contract for another series.

The 39-year-old ‘Matrix Reloaded’ star had returned to the small screen for the first time in 18 years for the show, which premiered on U. S. network Tnt in 2009.

Srinagar, Sep. 3 : Prominent Bollywood and other personalities visited Srinagar on Friday to pay tribute to flamboyant yesteryear actor Shammi Kapoor who died on August 14 in Mumbai.

The 79-year-old actor died of kidney failure.

Among those present were Reliance tycoon Anil Ambani, his wife Tina Ambani, veteran actresses Shabana Azmi, Asha Parekh and Poonam Dhillon, and socialite Sunanda Pushkar. Shammi''s son Aditya Raj Kapoor was also present.
