London, Sept 6 : Robbie Williams has started choosing songs for his new album, and his right-hand man Chris Briggs has flown all the way to Los Angeles to help the singer through a heap of songs recorded by him.

The 37-year-old English singer who has first been paired with hitmaker Guy Chambers by A and R legend Briggs, to create his mega-hit `Angels', has since trusted Briggs' opinion above anyone else in the business.

London, Sep 6 - Actor Josh Duhamel and his wife Fergie's band the Black Eyed Peas have raised $1 million through a benefit concert for flood-hit hometown Minot in North Dakota.

The actor organised a benefit concert to help rebuild his hometown after severe flooding damaged over 4,000 homes and made 11,000 residents flee their properties.

The Minot Rising concert was attended by around 16,000 fans at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds, where Fergie paid tribute to residents for their bravery.

Venice, Sep 6 - Veteran actor Al Pacino has been honoured at the Venice Film Festival for his work as a moviemaker.

Pacino is in Venice to promote his new directorial project "Wilde Salome", a part-documentary about writer-poet Oscar Wilde and part-movie adaptation of his play "Salome".

EcoVelocity, an event focusing environmentally-friendly motoring, will begin at one of London's most iconic landmarks, Battersea Power Station on 8 September.

The event will mostly include several electric and hybrid modela. However, viewers will be able to other models as the organizers claims that the event is about "real-world cars for real-world motorists."

The 2011 Chelsea AutoLegends, which is in its second year in running, has been organized with the Swinging Sixties theme.

The event that was organized at the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea, attracted can enthusiasts from all over the country. Visits were entertained by the Special Le Mans racers as well as other cars from the Sixties era.
