Canadian officials have said that protests over the amount of available public housing caused police to lock down Vancouver's Olympic Village condo sale.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. has reported that dozens of demonstrators, holding signs and chanting, Saturday protested what they said was a lack of public housing at the development after last month's vote by the city to halve the amount of social housing it had promised.

Officials have said that water bombers are attempting to fight a massive bush fire raging out of control in Thorhild County, Alberta, Canada.

Officials have said that a private prep school in Canada has ordered an investigation after four seniors were charged with sexually assaulting younger students.

The Winnipeg (Manitoba) Free Press reported on Sunday that a senior official of the University of Manitoba has been hired to conduct the external investigation at the elite St. John's-Ravenscourt School.

The newspaper also said that, four senior male students allegedly assaulted as many as 15 younger male boarding students, last fall and have been charged with sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and uttering threats.

A supplements before, during and after pregnancy reported a significant improvement in their lung functioning when compared to those mothers who externally took beta-carotene supplementations or placebo, confirms the study from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
