A latest Saint Louis University learning has discovered that a chemical that provides curry its vigor grasps an assurance in averting or curing liver harm from a highly developed form of a situation called as fatty liver disease.

Curcumin, the chemical is placed in turmeric, a plant utilized by the Chinese to design established medicines for many thousands of years.

Blue Star Ltd’s (BSL) Q2FY11 net sales grew by 25.2% YoY to Rs6.9bn against our estimate of Rs6.5bn. OPM contracted by 338bps to 8.5% on account of higher input cost and change in product mix (higher contribution of trading). Lower operating margins coupled with higher effective tax rate (31.1% against 24.2% YoY) led adj net profit to de-grew by 12.6% to Rs386mn lower than our estimate of Rs449mn.

Sona Koyo Steering Systems (SONA) Q2FY11 results were inline with our estimates as growth in domestic markets helped to double profits. On a sequential basis margins remained flat at 10.3%. With a 25% growth in net sales, profits doubled to Rs75mn as against our estimate of Rs83mn.

Outlook: We have maintained our revenue as well as margin estimates for FY11 and FY12. Our earnings estimate for FY11 and FY12 are at Rs1.5 and Rs1.7 respectively.
