Take That think Glastonbury gig will complete their comeback

London, Dec 13: English pop band ‘Take That’ have revealed that they would not mind completing their massive comeback with a gig at Glastonbury.

The band members want to headline the 2010 Glastonbury gig even though they have never played in a big festival, and there is talk of ex-band mate Robbie Williams joining them on stage if the reunion talks go well.

And bosses at their Universal label are also said to have held informal talks with festival chiefs.

“The lads would love to headline Glastonbury,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“There has been a lot of talk of it in the band’s camp. It would be the perfect pinnacle of their fantastic career.

“It also fits the bill for what the band are looking for in terms of Robbie’s comeback.

“It’s not right for him to join the tour next summer. That’s about their latest album — nothing to do with him.

“But they do want a huge show where they can sing a greatest hits set and as many fans as possible can see it. Glastonbury could be that gig.

“By then work on the third album since their comeback could be under way. Robbie could even be involved in that too,” the source added. (ANI)
