Dubai, Dec. 01st, 2008 --Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has ordered setting up of Al Jalilah bint Mohammed bin Rashid Paediatric Hospital.

The hospital, which is the first specialised integrated paediatric hospital in the UAE, is a gift from Sheikh Mohammed to children on the first birth anniversary of his daughter Sheikha Al Jalilah, which coincides with Dec. 2nd, the day the UAE people mark the 37th anniversary of the UAE federation. The hospial will provide full medical services to sick children.

Qadi Saeed Al Murooshid, director general of the Dubai Health Authority said that Sheikh Mohammed has inspected the initial designs of the hospital and approved them, thanking Sheikh Mohammed for this humanitarian paternal gesture. (WAM/MN)
