Baghdad - A policeman was shot dead and three more were wounded Tuesday when a roadside bomb exploded in the northern Iraqi province of Salahaddin, US forces said.

Dubai-based al-Arabiya television channel meanwhile reported that a bomb was defused in their correspondent's car in Baghdad. No on came to any harm in the incident. (dpa)
