HCL Comnet, a unit of HCL Technologies Ltd, India’s fifth largest technology services firm by revenues has signed a five-year outsourcing contract with state-run Union bank of India. The contract is valued at Rs 60 crore.

The scope of contract involves handling end-to-end managed network services for all Union Bank's branches during this period.

Founded in 1993, HCL Comnet offers Life Cycle Services for strategic off-sourcing the Operations & Management of IT Infrastructure in Legacy, Client-Server or Internet environments to enhance visibility, improve performance and reduce cost.

The company addresses the growing demand in the country for the cost-effective management of technology infrastructure across geographically dispersed locations.
