Birds of prey show at night in UAE zoo
Abu Dhabi - Al-Ain zoo, described as the largest in the Middle East, announced Tuesday it will organize a special showing of birds of prey at night.
Maged al-Mansoury, managing director of the zoo, said visitors will be able to watch different kinds of birds of prey in an environment similar to nature until 10:00 pm.
"Going to the zoo at night will allow people to see animals in the time when they are most active," he told reporters on Tuesday.
He added that the zoo, which is spread on 45 hectares, has a special breeding programme white rhino from South Africa, a species threatened to extinct. (dpa)
