3i Infotech Ltd has informed that it has acquired a strategic stake of 26% in Hyderabad-based Locuz Enterprise Solutions Ltd (Locuz) for an undisclosed amount, with a commitment to acquire remaining stake over a period.

Locuz is a specialist in IT Infrastructure solutions and services with acknowledged expertise in High Performance Computing, Tiered Storage, Information Security and IP Convergence Solutions.

The stock of 3i Infotech closed today at Rs 127, down 2% compared with previous close of Rs 129.40. It touched an intraday high and low of Rs 129.45 and Rs 124 respectively. Stock markets closed weak today as technology, banking and energy stocks were trading weak due to selling pressure.
