Honda announces pricing details for new Civic modelsJapanese auto maker, Japan has announced the pricing details of the ninth-generation Honda Civic, which is scheduled to go on sale in January in the UK. The range is now available to order and will come with a starting price of £16,495.

The new Honda Civic 2012 were first released during the Frankfurt motor show last month in Germany. The new modelsd will come with several improvements and feature

a high level of standard equipment, air-conditioning, alloy wheels, a ECON driving mode as well as daytime running lights.

The buyers will have the choice of three engines; 99bhp 1.4 and 140bhp 1.8 petrol and a 148bhp 2.2-litre diesel for the series. IT also comes with start-stop technology and an ECON switch, which allows the car to save fuel consumption. The trim levels will be similar to that of the current range with SE, ES, EX and EX GT models.

Honda’s Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Mitigation Braking System and will be available for the first time in the range in EX GT models for £1,900.
