Maruti to Recruit New Employees for Its Manesar Plant
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is standing true to its words, as according to which they asked their employees to sign "good conduct bond" and then enter the company, and if not, then they would hire new employees as they cannot afford to stop their production of the new Swift model.
From 950 workers, only 100 till now have signed the bond and since August 29, they have stopped working in the production unit, and not only that the quality being produced was not good and they even started receiving complaints from the customers. So, it was quite important to have that bond in which it is clearly mentioned that the company employees could not form any separate union under the effect of external sources.
For time being, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is taking the support of its officers, interns as well as from its engineers to keep the flow going, but it is a temporary solution, which if not solved out on time, it could have severe impact on company's repute as well as on its shares.
Workers have demanded the intervention of the district administration so that issue could be sorted out but till now they have not reached to a consensus.
