On Thursday, the country government announced that they finally have approved, the Air India’s (AI) proposal, which stated that to pay all the banks money and to avoid from becoming a non-performing resource, they needed a sanction of Rs 250 crore.
Meanwhile, some sources claimed that before the recommended deadline, the organization failed to meet all the legal formalities and some airlines members over initiated on the collision of the Maharaja, and AI's difficulties kept on increasing.
They further claimed that after the entry into Star Alliance entry controversy, the AI’s passenger bookings producer would be put on hold.
On the other hand, AI’S senior officials stated that the Air France-KLM requested the SkyTeam to introduce their company as a member of Star alliance, so regarding this issue, there was no point to create any controversies and British Airways-one of the major global alliance had already declared that they would be having Kingfisher as a future member.
He added, “We have never stopped anyone from joining a global alliance. We allowed Kingfisher to join One World and if AI is not allowed to join Star Alliance no other private Indian carrier will stand a chance of joining it either”.
