Nvidia Corp is planning to release a new version of its dual-chip flagship GeForce GTX graphics card, which will be more reliable and overclockable.

Nvidia is aiming to re-invent print-circuit board for improving reliability of the system while overclocking. The new GeForce GTX 590 graphics card is powered by two GF110 graphics processing units (GPUs) and features 3GB of GDDR5 memory.

The new chip will also have new inductors, larger printed circuit board (PCB) and a new cooling solutions mechanism. This will avoid failure of the chips during overclocking. The new graphics cards will feature 699-11020-005-502 marking on the PCB.

The new version of the graphics card is expected to become available in June.
