Dollar progresses towards a two-week high
The dollar has increased to a two-week peak against the yen before a U. S. report today which has the potential to display to employers further for a third month, aiding the demand for assets in the biggest economy of the world.

The value of the dollar has increased to 83.54 yen, the maximum level reached since 23rd December before trading at 83.52 yen at 2:59 p. m. in Tokyo, which earlier was 83.33 yen in New York yesterday.
The euro brought in $1.2987 from $1.3003, after having reduced to $1.2968 earlier, the weakest value after 15th September. The single currency went up to 108.44 yen from 108.35 yen.
