Smoking related to children being criminal

Smoking related to children being criminal it has been recently found in a study that children whose mothers smoke heavily during their pregnancy period are more likely to be career criminals in their following years.

As heavy smoking activities are directly related to the offending regardless of whether the child was brought up in socially deprived circumstances it has a direct impact on the following years of the child.

It is to be mentioned here that the experts from the Harvard School of Public Health in the US have recently said that there is a high risk for women who smoked 20 or more cigarettes a day during pregnancy.

It may be noted here that the study was published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health that had more than 3,700 mothers between 1959 and 1966 were asked questions on their smoking habits during the period of pregnancy.

And it was found that during the period of 1999/2000 when their children were aged at least 33, whose mothers smoke heavily were 31% more likely to have been arrested as compared to the mothers who never smoked during pregnancy.
