Mahindra confident of a bright future of Logan
Though the product has been facing wavering sales for the many past months as the Logan hasn't been able to grab the consumers' mindset but the automotive arm of M&M is confident that the product has a possibility of a bright future in the Indian market.
In fact, after Renault broke ties with its partner M&M, the home-grown automotive giant was all set for a back-up plan for the product. Within a week after Renault got out of the picture M&M announced a cut in the prices of the Logan.
Moreover, going forward, the company is also planning a launch a marketing campaign that will showcase the functional benefits of the product to the Indian consumer in the short-run.
Rajesh Jejurikar, chief executive, automotive division, M&M said that the new campaign will be aiming to explain the benefits of the product to the Indian consumer.
The company is also planning to get the length of the product below the 4 metre mark so that it can avail the excise benefits. Moreover, M&M will also re-badge it by the end of December after which Renault will completely get out of the picture.
