Rumors of HP hurricane WebOS to be released later this year
The current gossip circulating in the air is that of HP Hurricane, the WebOS which was supposedly made to run on Slate tablet.
Internal sources confirm that HP Hurricane tablet will be introduced in the third quarter of this year and this was further corroborated when HP bought Palm. The HP-Palm deal that closes on July 31 might officially state this matter, say the trade pundits.
The news of Slate's dumping has led the trade analysts to ponder up on which processor is to be used instead of the Intel Atom processor.
Besides this, HP is posed to scrutinize Palm's WebOS and bring it to proper usage. And if things go as mentioned Hp might be in the process of making a custom interface over the WebOS utilizing Palm's technology. However, the WebOS clad Hurricane is sure to offer competition to iPad, but it will worth be a wait if HP bends down the ruling of iPad.
