We must invest in nuclear energy, says expert
Australian economy has already made its intentions on investments clear as far as the health and education fields are concerned. The news now from the Australian experts is that the economy now badly needs to invest in nuclear power. They are recommending that the country should focus on the training of nuclear engineers and develop sites for nuclear development.
The industry would definitely give a boost to the economy after 2030 if the investment is made right now. The plants would take 20 years to reap their benefits. At this point of time, neither the carbon issue nor the nuclear energy issue has gained wide acceptance in the public.
There was a problem associated with piping the highly toxic carbon gases in the air which were emitted from coal-generated power stations in NSW and Queensland and this issue would create political problems to secure storage sites interstate.
