The health of Mumbai was described as healthy and fine by legendary actor Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, who has lived in the city for over four decades.

At a function, where Big B was asked about the recent Shiv Sena activities that have triggered tensions in the city, the humble actor said that the health of Mumbai is fine.

He explained, "Please, I have come here to your state for a good thing, to launch a health programme."

But when he replied with this statement, an array of other questions flowed in as they were all concerned with the health of Mumbai.

The main motive of the Bachchan's visit was to unveil a health project of the Resul Pookutty Foundation and a private hospital which will treat the poor and needy.

The generous actor also donated Rs. 11 lakh to the foundation.
