Two more swine flu cases in Himachal
Shimla, Nov 24 : Two schoolchildren in Himachal Pradesh have tested positive for the influenza A (H1N1) virus, increasing the number of swine flu cases in the state to 12, a health official said Tuesday.
"Medical reports of two students tested positive Tuesday in Solan district. One is of a residential public school at Dagshai and the second student of Delhi Public School at Pinjore (Haryana) but residing in Parwanoo," Solan's Chief Medical Officer Ashok Tangra told IANS.
He said a medical team had reached the residential public school at Dagshai to educate and examine other students. The student has been sent to his house in Ambala in Haryana.
Solan district in the state has reported the maximum number of swine flu cases.
A 48-year-old woman from Solan, who was suffering from the influenza, died in a hospital in Punjab's Mohali town Oct 18.(IANS)
